IBC product range is presenting various and innovative solutions guaranteeing safe bearing functions.
Further to the already mentioned bearing variations, Cylindrical Roller Bearings are produced in single row version with cage. They consist of one-piece inner and outer ring as well as cylindrical roller crown. The cage avoids contact of rolling elements against each other The roller set is designed for maximum load carrying capacity in radial direction. The line contact between rolling elements and raceway enables high rigidity. They cannot carry axial loads and are used as floating bearings.
Single Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings are separable. This facilitates mounting and dismounting. Cylindrical Roller Bearings are produced in different designs depending on various requirements. The various designs are distinguished in the following basic designs. Type NU Cylindrical Roller Bearings have two tight ribs at the outer ring, whereas there is no rib at the inner ring. Type N has two tight ribs at the inner ring and an outer ring without rib. They can carry free and easy axial load between shaft and housing in both directions and therefore are only used as floating bearing. With different inner and outer rings they are available in design NJ, NUP, NF, NP in series 10, 2, 3, 22 and 23. These series are produced as standard in design E with reinforced roller set.
Design NJ has two fixed ribs at the outer ring and one fixed rib at the inner ring, so that axial location can be provided for the shaft in one direction. Further to the standard Cylindrical Roller Bearings, IBC is also producing High Precision Cylindrical Roller Bearings. For further information please refer to chapter “Precision Cylindrical Roller Bearings”.
Cylindrical Roller Bearings of type NUP have two fixed ribs at the outer ring and a fixed rib at the inner ring, as well as loose shoulders. They are used as locating bearings as they are leading the shaft in both axial directions.
Cylindrical Roller Bearings with suffix E with reinforced roller cage assembly are designed for maximum load carrying capacity, at unchanged outside dimensions.
Cylindrical Roller Bearings of version E are produced with a reinforced Polyamide 6.6 cage. Solid brass cages, rib or rolling element guided are standard versions too. Lots of dimensions are available with steel cage.
ATCoated Cylindrical Roller Bearings are an alternative to avoid fretting corrosion and to guarantee slide fit.
