Flat cage guides consist of guiding rails different designs and material as well as flat cages with a variety of rolling elements (needle rollers- or cylindrical rollers). Flat cage guides are especially applicable for small construction sized constructions. They possess a high stiffness and load carrying capacity as well as low friction and high precision.
Flat cage guides are manufactured for the bearing of flat, reciprocating machine parts. Low friction, even while starting, allows for the finest respectively feed motion. In nearly all areas of the overall area machine construction, flat cages are being applied.
The two flat cage guides, single- and double row, are to be distinguished. The cage elements of this series are made of brass and implemented with needle rollers out of 100 Cr6.
The cage elements of the double row flat cage guides of this series have double rows. The two rows are being combined trough the application of the according connection parts. This enables the bending of the two rows in each optional way to another.
To establish linear fixed bearing systems, angle flat cages present another option. This design is concerning flat cages, where both legs are orthogonal positioned to another. They are mostly applied in connection with rail guides. |
